Process is Form – Launches on 2nd & 9th September
Team will be having two further launch events for their eagerly anticipated book, Process is Form, in Manchester on Thursday 2nd September and London on Thursday 9th September.This Manchester event is in conjunction with INC. The Manchester event will feature a talk by Design Project, the designers of the book, on the thinking behind the project which analyses the relationship between the process and mechanics of print production and the practice of design and communication.Practical and informative, but beautifully designed and printed, the book provides an excellent platform to show off Team’s printing capabilities and also demonstrates their keenness to get ‘stuck in’ to help designers realise their printed projects, no matter how complicated they may be. The extensive use of special colours (24 colours, plus different foils and finishes throughout) really gives a taste of the comprehensive print and finishing services Team can offer.
So if you want to find out more about how a highly complex book of this nature comes together, make sure you don’t miss this one-off opportunity to hear the designers talk specifically about the project.

Process is Form – Launching in Leeds on Wednesday 14th July
Team will be launching their eagerly anticipated new book, Process is Form, at The Cross Keys in Leeds on Wednesday 14th July, in conjunction with Fedrigoni (who have kindly supplied paper for the project). Another collaboration with Design Project, Process is Form follows the highly acclaimed and now out of print, The Process of Printing, and marks the continued development of Team as the printer of choice amongst many designers in the UK.
The book, priced at twenty pounds, will be available at a special discount price of just five pounds on the launch night – Wednesday 14th July 2010, 6 – 9pm at The Cross Keys, Leeds. Fedrigoni paper launch – Wednesday 14th July
Team have also just completed production on a new limited edition paper sampler for Fedrigoni to promote their extra white premium quality uncoated brand, Arcoprint. This new promotion (designed and created by Design Project) is being launched by Fedrigoni in Leeds in conjunction with the new Team book – another good reason to come along on Wednesday 14th July and pick up copies of both these highly unusual printed pieces. This new paper promotion incorporates a box containing a colour demonstration booklet and uses fluorescent printed imagery and embossing to show how the surface properties of this paper can give excellent reproduction possibilities. Team to sponsor Manchester showing of ‘Typeface’ film.
The next Independent Northern Creative event, sponsored by Team, will be a screening of the internationally acclaimed film Typeface. Directed by Justine Nagan, the film is a fascinating documentary in progress about the Hamilton Woodtype Museum in Two Rivers, Wisconsin.
Following the museum’s attempt to preserve the art of letterpress printing, the film gives an intriguing glimpse of life in this small mid-western town and demonstrates how the museum’s role in preserving and promoting traditional craft techniques have had a significant impact on helping to shape the future of contemporary design.

Team support INC (Independent Northern Creative).
Team are proud to be supporting the newly formed non-profit organisation INC by printing a series of limited edition posters to promote their events. INC aims to provide a forum and platform for creatives in the North of England by organising a series of graphic design events in the region.
INC’s inaugural event was a tremendous evening with SEA’s Bryan Edmondson talking to a packed house in Manchester about his ‘Inspirations and Influences’. Limited edition posters are available to purchase from the INC website.
