Printer of the Year

The Drum magazine has announced that Team Impression has been voted ‘Printer of the Year’ for 2007-2008 in a poll carried out by their readers. The magazine covers the area from the M25 up to Scotland, so this is a fantastic achievement especially as it is voted for by designers, many of which are clients. Team would like to thank all who voted and its entire workforce for making this possible.

Team float onto Plus Markets

Stock market flotation will help Team to press ahead with plans for further expansion. The company has already trebled its turnover during the last six years. Last year Team was named the 37th most profitable company in the United Kingdom by Print Week magazine, and it is expected that sales will rise again next year to more than £7 million.

The next stage in the company's development was completed on September 19th 2007 with the flotation of Team Impression (Holdings) Plc onto the stock market. Money raised through flotation will be used to help drive futher expansion at the Leeds-based company. “The money we have made has always been re-invested for the future. Flotation should enable us to invest still further and continue to move ahead,” said managing director Peter Crowson, who said the company's success had come during a very difficult time for the printing industry. “We must have seen at least twenty other print companies disappear in the last few years, so it is even more pleasing that we have been able to achieve the growth we have.”

Team recently bought a third unit next to its existing premises in Leeds, where it now owns a plant comprising 26,000 square feet.
