At Team we take our environmental responsibilities very seriously and have invested heavily to achieve full FSC® accredited status. The Chain of Custody scrutiny involved in achieving FSC® approval means that every aspect of Team’s paper sourcing and handling has been assessed.

About our FSCĀ® status

FSC® accredited status shows that the required standard of care through the whole supply chain has been met. Additionally, Team has put in place measures to ensure safe disposal and recycling of all materials used in its print production, including inks and chemicals, aluminium printing plates and all waste matter. In line with its broader environmental policy, Team now carries FSC®/recycled paper as standard everyday printing stocks. These high quality, high performance stocks are offered for use on all appropriate projects unless other branded papers are specified by the client. Print Matters, Standard Paper Guide (FSC®/Recycled) contains samples of the full range of these papers, suitable for almost any print project. Because of the volumes involved in carrying them as standard stock, there is no real cost implication in the use of these papers. However, the environmental gain is real.

FSCĀ® accreditation

The Forest Stewardship Council® (FSC®) is part of an international organisation bringing together forest owners, timber processors, and wood product manufacturers and users to ensure long term timber supplies while protecting the environment and the lives of forest-dependent peoples. More than 100 million hectares of forest are now managed to FSC® standards in some 79 countries around the world. For more information about FSC®, visit the website here.

Print Matters

Our handy little two part booklet, Print Matters, provides a complete guide to Team’s evvironmental policy and collects together a specially selected range of FSC®/recycled papers used by Team for everyday printing purposes. These stocks offer a high performance solution for almost all printing needs and will be used by Team on most projects unless an alternative branded paper has been specified. Encouraging the use of this range of papers and boards forms part of Team’s wider environmental policy as an FSC® accredited printer.
